1) D.A.Greenproject Srl, before each treatment, will carry out a photographic and visual survey to assess the condition of the wooden product.
2) D.A.GreenprojectSrl, on completion of the job, will issue a document together with the invoice to certify that the item in question has undergone a microwave disinfestation treatment in accordance with the Microwaves system for art protocol, thus guaranteeing the eradication of every form of biological parasite present in the object.
The durability of the treatment can be ensured by observing a few simple precautions:
keep the object well away from other items clearly or presumably subject to infestation;
place the treated object in a dry and well-maintained place.
3) D.A.GreenprojectSrl recommends adopting, in addition to the operational protocol, deterrents against wood-boring insects and mould, such as the use and application of boron salts for prevention and preservation. Borates have the following characteristics:
ACTION: protective and preventative in the long-term.
WOOD: Makes wood unpalatable to woodworm and mould.
It has a preventative effect; for infested wood the Salts need to penetrate deeply. Fire retardant in proportion to the quantity absorbed.
PROPERTIES: Greatly simplifies maintenance work.
ACIDITY: pH Neutral.
FREE FROM: acrylic resins, vinyls, alkyds, of polyurethanes, aliphatic compounds, biocides and toxic substances in general.
COMPOSITION: Ammonium pentaborate tetrahydrate.
